We are proud to announce two open source tools for content editing are now available at tools.knowconceptdesign.com. 

Writr is a basic spell checker tool that allows you to limit the amount of characters allowed. This is useful when writing essays or just filling out a form with a character limit.

Stripr allows you to take content and strip out the formatting and unwanted images. This saves paper when printing or is useful when trying to copy text between markups.

We hope that people find these tools useful and both have been released as open source so we hope that they are improved upon.

For Earth Day Know Concept Design created an app as part of the Twilio earth day developer contest that allows users to call in and enter their Seattle zip code and find nearby parks.

The winner has been announced and we are proud to say that it was us! You can read Twilio's post announcing the contest winner on their blog.

You can check it out by calling  (206) 673-5344 and entering a valid Seattle zip code followed by the pound key.A minisite was created here.
